P.A.M is dedicated to aiding young women in the preservation of their families and building a foundation for their future. We believe that by reiterating the importance and significance of a mothers role in her child’s life and ten equipping her with the ability to follow through , we will be changing more than lives, we will be building families. Families with a solid foundation to build a successful life upon. The women wo will come to us are those who find themselves in a situation where they have little to no direction in life, and are not equipped to raise their children. Based on their specifics needs, we will offer a program outline which will prepare them for both motherhood, and life on life’s terms. Our goal is t provide a basic foundation for life were the children are the natural priority. We will be able to accomplish this trough a custom program which integrates personal growth, education, practical application, and planning for the future. In order for our residents to respond to the program and feel relaxed in their decision to seek help, we must remove the daily stresses that can overwhelm and distract her from her goals. By minimizing these outside stressors and providing a nine month live in program where All residential and basic living needs are met, we believe the women will be able to focus and concentrate on the program itself. A group home and private education environment designed to prepare our residents for independent living. It is the ultimate mission of grandmas house that by the time a resident graduates from our program they will have achieved: ? Personal self-worth and independence ? Healthy relationships with family, friends, and partners ? A solid life plan and a path to success ? Confidence in their abilities to raise and care for their children ? And hope for a brighter more secure future The importance of our mission cannot be overstated. We believe the children are our future. Failure to provide, protect, and raise them in love, not only hurts them as individuals, but society as a whole. It is our mission to bring the community together in order to solve a problem that is plain our society. It is not enough to identify that there is a problem, we must work together to resolve the issue, not on a temporary basis, but permanently. It is our goal to raise enough funds throughout 2017 to be able to open doors by the end of 2018.
