Blythedale Children's Hospital is a 92 bed inpatient facility for pediatric medical and physical rehabilitation. We offer a day hospital program for 150 children as well as 25,000 outpatient visits. We service NYC and the seven counties north. We have a post-neonate program, neurology, pulmonology,ventilatoe dependent children, orthopaedics, rehabilitation medicine, genetics, pediatrics, dentistry, GI, rheumatology, etc. Our average length of stay is 70 days. We believe that children need a child sensitive environment. We teach families to care for their children and intergrate them back into the community. We receive referrals from all the major teaching centers in NYC as well as CT. and Westchester County.
