Cause Description:
We are a church reaching out to underpriviledged children first in our own area, Fairborn and the Miami Valley of Ohio (Dayton) and then around the world through many different and diverse ministries. One of our biggest causes however is an orphanage that we are trying to support in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The brother of one of our staff members and his wife are running it. They take in abused and neglected children. They are in desperate need. The organization that was helping them has treated them very badly and is throwing them out of their home. There are 18 children who will be sent to a state run orphanage or even worse. We are trying to send them funds to secure their own property and to build their own home. It will take at least $200,000.00 for this endeavor alone. We have visited them last September and hope to go again this September to take supplies and monies to them.
