Preserve, renovate and restore the Harrison School to community use as a gathering place to serve the needs of the local community, while preserving its history for future generations. Operate the Harrison School as a museum of African American History open to the public. Serve as an educational, cultural and civic resource to promote cental Missouri's African American history, implications, and connections to the larger society. Inspire and empower people to value and preserve their historical journey.
