Cause Description:
Our mission is to find safe and loving forever homes for dogs (and other animals) who have been abused, neglected, or unwanted. With shelters at or over capacity throughout our region, our experienced and dedicated group of volunteers are committed to: Collaborating with other rescues to help ensure that the dog that would be left behind at a kill shelter won't be. Offering rehoming options before pets are abandoned at kill shelters. Providing necessary medical and behavioral interventions for dogs we rescue. Contributing to efforts to address dog overpopulation by ensuring that dogs we rescue are spayed/neutered. Providing educational resources to communities with chronic overpopulation issues. Mentoring the next generation of volunteers who will be committed and skilled at improving outcomes for dogs (and other animals) who have been abused, neglected, or unwanted.
