Cause Description:
Our Facility is not a public shelter. I started in animal rescue at age 14. I have been rescuing and volunteering off and on for over 25 years. When I started Pawsfree I saw the needs were not for another small public shelter, but a support system for existing shelters. To take animal overflow from large seizure cases that can bring a shelter into crisis. To nurture, rehabilitate & retrain via physical and emotional therapy animals that would formerly be destroyed...and bottom line to find homes for all of these animals and educate both breeders and the public in proper animal management & care.
