The Water Education Collaborative (WEC) is a coalition of 20 private and public organizations that work together to increase water quality education in the community. The purpose of the Collaborative is to inspire people to help protect and improve the water quality of the Genesee River, Lake Ontario, and the streams in the watershed. Programs include teacher training, citizen stream monitoring,and shoreline clean-ups.
