The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected animals and to act as a resource to the community. As a no-kill facility, the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina temporarily cares for dogs and cats until they can find loving, permanent homes through adoptions. The Humane Society receives no government or private agency support and must count on fundraising events and membership fees from the public to offset the cost of housing, feeding and providing medical care for our animals. Your donations go the care of the animals. In 2015 we were able to find forever homes for 688 animals thanks to donations from the community like yours. Please help us help them!
