Dedicated to the promotion of culture and art as a significant and vital part of our community's spirit,City Arts Project seeks to achieve two main goals: To support and promote worthy emerging artists in all media. To develop comprehensive cultural resources for students and the general public. Programs include: City Arts Project Web site and interactive resource center Schools Outreach programs Collaborative Arts programs The Performance Series of interactive software & educational tools Workshops and seminars Live Productions The organization has - as its core principle - the desire to see each urban center in the United States fully equipped to benefit from, and support, the creative potential that lies within each of our citizens. We seek to educate and encourage individuals to reach out to the different cultures that make up their neighborhood, and the only way we believe that can be done is to expose them to the different creative forms of those cultures' expression.
