MISSION: Edeyo is a non-profit charity empowering the children of Haiti through education. WHO WE ARE: Launched as a labor of love, EDEYO (Eh-day-oh) is a not-for-profit charity building and supporting a school to educate, shelter, and nourish impoverished and despondent children in one of Haiti’s most neglected slums. École Communautaire du Bel-Air Herve Romain Coeur Joyeux (“École du Bel-Air”) Opened in November 2007 with an enrollment of 88 students. Today the school facility comprises 6 classrooms, 2 bathrooms and a functional drainage system for its 172 students - 84 boys and 88 girls - all of whom had very limited access to education.
