St. Wilfrid’s Episcopal Preschool is a community outreach of St. Wilfrid of York Episcopal Church. Our program welcomes all families and children of all faiths and beliefs. We believe that a child’s first school experience is a partnership between the parent and the school. Parents are always welcome in St. Wilfrid’s classrooms. St. Wilfrid’s is not just about getting a young child ready for school but helping a child get ready for life. Each child is a unique and special child of God who has the right to grow in a nurturing environment that stimulates their curiosity while strengthening their sense of self. We believe that children construct their own knowledge and learning through child initiated play. Our developmental program offers experiences leading to social, emotional, cognitive, creative, physical and spiritual growth.
