Keep Loudoun Beautiful (KLB) is a grassroots nonprofit organization that was formed in 1972 out of concern for the growing litter problem in Loudoun County, VA. KLB's mission of is to (1) help eliminate litter from roadways, tributaries, and public spaces in Loudoun county through coordinated cleanup activities utilizing volunteers from throughout the community; (2) monitor and report illegal trash dumps and violations to county solid waste ordinances; (3) promote environmental awareness in the areas of litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling, and pollution prevention; and (4) enhance Loudoun's beauty with roadside planting projects.
