Cause Description:
The pit bull is the most misunderstood and persecuted dog in today’s society. The once all-American family companion has fallen victim to media scrutiny and irresponsible breeding and ownership. Save-a-Bull Rescue is committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of pit bulls and pit mixes in need. Through volunteer effort, community support and ongoing education we aim to bring back the respect these dogs so greatly deserve. We are a volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes until their forever families are found. All dogs that pass through rescue are thoroughly temperament-tested and health-screened, altered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped.
