The U.S. Handcycling Federation is a nonprofit corporation governed by Wheelchair Sports USA and the U.S. Olympic Committee. As part of the U.S. Disabled Cycling Program, the USHF provides opportunities for athletes with disabilities (spinal cord injury, etc.) to compete in national and international events. Handcycling was recently approved as a Paralympic sport.
