Cause Description:
Our missions and outreach ministry promotes mission activities throughout the congregation through trainings, various activities, and occasional workshops. The role of missions in our congregation is not just the work of a committee or limited to just a few persons, but it is the expectation that all of our disciples participate in our local community and beyond. We encourage all of our ministries, committees, life groups to find ways to become actively engaged within and around our community. We are always open to a variety of gifts, passions, and experiences. Currently, we serve the community through our food pantry, providing emergent needs for members of our community, Toys for Tots, Annual Community Breakfast, Prison Fellowship's Project Angel Tree and many others. Ministries that are actively involved in missions are the following; United Methodist Women, Communion Stewards, Food Pantry, and Youth Fellowship.
