Cause Description:
We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue in South Mississippi. One of our founders purchased a used shuttle bus for the rescue to change into a TRANSPORT BUS. Unfortunately, before the bus could be completely transformed into the transport bus outfitted with kennels and equipment for safe travels of animals, the catalytic converters under the bus were stolen. The rescue staff has spoken with several shops to have new Cat Convertors put on the bus and a theft plate welded to the bottom to prevent this from happening again. Thats where we need help. The bus is in need of $5000 to get it finished and back on the road. MS-CAP once the bus is running again will be rolling into local communities to offer low cost / free vaccinations to prevent the spread of Parvo and Distemper. They will also be microchipping animals. But they cant do these missions until the bus is running again.
