Cause Description:
Because life on the end of a chain is no life at all. With the long-term goal of legislation banning dog tethering, Freedom for Friends will provide free fencing, immunization and sterilization for chained dogs in Eastern, NC. Dogs are living creatures that depends on us to provide food, water and shelter. Chained dogs can become entangled and aren’t able to reach these basic needs. A chained dog can become territorial, un-socialized and prey for other animals. They eat, sleep and defecate in a small, confined space. We want to change that one dog at a time.
